Veteran actress Hema Malini is "surprised" to see the country's youths step out in support of Anna Hazare's anti-graft
movement, and says she appreciates the activist's bravery.
"I appreciate the bravery of Mr. Anna Hazare. I am surprised to see how this generation of people across the country has united
to support his cause. This is for the first time we are witnessing some thing like this, " the Bharatiya Janata Party's Rajya
Sabha member told reporters at the ongoing Lakme Fashion Week (LFW) here Friday.
Pledging her support for the anti-corruption movement, the 62-year-old actress wished Hazare good health and success.
"The way he is undeterred in his fasting, I would pray to God that he lives in good health and be successful in his mission, "
she said.
Hazare, who started his fast for a stronger Lokpal bill Aug 16 inside the Tihar Jail, has now moved to the Ramlila ground in
Delhi.
