"Personally I'm not really in favour of remakes. If I feel that I loved a particular movie, then I would like to see the hero of that film only doing that role. I watch 'Sholay' for Amitabh Bachchan and Dharmendra. I wouldn't like anyone else doing that, " the 28-year-old told.
He has similar thoughts about sequels.
"Sometimes people make sequels unnecessarily...just because the film has worked. If it has a scope, like if it's an action film or a superhero film, then I can understand. But it should not be made without a reason, " he said the actor who has done films like "Jaane Tu...Yaa Jaane Na", "I Hate Luv Storys", "Break Ke Baad" and "Delhi Belly".
On his professional front, Imran is looking forward to the release of "Mere Brother Ki Dulhan".
