Producer Sunil Bohra has inked a deal to distribute "Slumdog Millionaire" star Frieda Pinto's new film "Trishna" in India.

Bohra will be distributing the film under his banner Bohra Bros Production Pvt Ltd along with Paramhans Creations. Directed by Michael Winterbottom of "The Mighty Heart" fame, "Trishna" stars Freida and Riz Ahmed in prominent roles.

The film is based on Thomas Hardy's novel named "Tess of the d'Urbervilles". "Trishna" tells the story of a woman whose life is torn between love and circumstances. It will be premiered at the Toronto Film Festival Sep 9.
