He has inspired millions of Indians with his gutsy captaincy and flamboyant batting style but now the name of Indian cricket
team skipper M S Dhoni will don the posters of director Prakash Raj's upcoming film.
Titled 'Dhoni', the Tamil film is a bilingual movie that will hit the silver screen in two languages - Tamil and Telugu.
Directed by five time National award winning actor turned producer Prakash Raj, the film will feature Bollywood beauty
Mughda Godse and Raj in the lead roles.
The music of the film has been composed by Ilaiyaraja. 'Dhoni 'will be produced by Prakash Raj's Duet Movies.
"'Dhoni'...first look of the bilingual film I'm directing in tamil n telugu. Another journey begins!!" Raj had tweeted.
Dhoni and Indian team is currently touring England where they have been badly thrashed by the hosts by 4-0 margin in the
Test series.
His side was also defeated in the single T20 match of the tour and are already down by 2-0 margin in the ongoing One Day
International series.
Team India may have showcased a flop show in the English turf but it will be interesting to see how 'Dhoni' performs at the
box office when it hits the silver screen on Dec, media reports said.
Earlier this year a film titled 'I Am Kalam' received good response form the audience. Directed by Nila Madhab Panda, the plot
revolves around Chhotu, a poor Rajasthani boy, who got inspired by the life of former President of India, A. P. J. Abdul Kalam
and aimed to learn and read.
