Pankaj Kapur's directorial debut "Mausam" focuses on the lives of two lovers – a Punjabi boy called Harry, played by the director's son Shahid Kapoor, and a Kashmiri girl, Aayat, played by Sonam Kapoor.
Love gradually blossoms between the two, but circumstances force a bitter separation. Years later, Harry—now a Lieutenant Captain in the Indian Air Force—visits Aayat's hometown on a mission and the story of their reconciliation unfolds.
Shahid has been involved in promotional activities of the film much before its release date.
At the box-office, Mausam will be contesting with Speedy Singh & Havai Dada, even the critics and trade analysts are eyeing on the film's box-office collection.
Strong publicity plans for Mausam on social sites are still getting the hits and trailors on TV and news paper ads have generated good hype for the movie, claimed Global Advertisers, who have been hired to execute the outdoor plan in western, central or eastern suburbs along with south Mumbai.
"You can't escape the beauty and attraction of the finest larger-than-life posters of Mausam. The movie appeals to masses and we have enhanced its reach further more, " said Global Advertisers Managing Director Sanjeev Gupta.
