He has been romancing with cinema for more than seven decades and Bollywood's evergreen star Dev Anand is now planning a second part of his 1971 hit 'Hare Rama Hare Krishna'.

The actor-filmmaker, who celebrated his 88th birthday recently, will be seen in the lead role in his forthcoming film 'Chargesheet' and is working on the extension of the Zeenat Aman-starrer movie, which is titled 'Hare Rama Hare Krishna Aaj'.

"My life is same and I am at a beautiful stage at 88. I am as excited as I was in my 20s. I have so many things to do and I am looking forward to the release of 'Chargesheet'. "I am working on a fresh script titled 'Hare Rama Hare Krishna Aaj' on audience's demand. It is not the remake of my 'Hare Rama Hare Krishna'. It's rather an extension of the film."

The actor says he will be seen in a completely new avatar in the movie. "I don't believe in remakes and the film will see my character of Prashant in a completely new avatar.

Every scene would be new and will be according to the present context. Like the 1971 movie, it will give today's youth a strong social message. It will have some soulful numbers too because without good songs a film cannot be hit, " he said.

Dev Anand started his Bollywood journey with 1946 film 'Hum Ek Hain' and became film industry's heartthrob with films like 'Kala Pani (1958), 'Tere Ghar Ke Samne' (1963), 'Guide' (!965) and 'Jewel Thief' (1967). His last screen outing was in 2005 in 'Mr Prime Minister' and in 'Chargesheet' he is playing the triple role of actor-producer and director.

"Chargsheet is a murder mystery. I want people to keep guessing till the very end. I am playing the central character like I have always played in my films. My character is of a CBI officer who will be shown cracking an underworld nexus in his unique rocking style, " he said. And the veteran actor has no retirement plan.

"I enjoy filmmaking and will do it till my last breathe. There is so much fun in it. I have started my career in 42 and have been delivering films from past seven decades and I don't feel tired at all, " he said.

He will be honoured with the national Kishore Kumar Samman for the year 2010-11 by the Madhya Pradesh government and he says that all these awards keep him going at this a ge. "These awards keep me going. They make me feel that my audience's love are still with me and it makes me feel young everytime, " he added.
