The veteran filmmaker, who has signed up Rahman for the first time for his next directorial, is wonderstruck at his genius.
"Rahman is a genius. I am working on a film with him, and his way of working is fantastic... he's amazing. He doesn't talk anything but music, and he says he knows nothing but music, " Chopra said at an event here Tuesday.
Chopra has roped in Rahman to compose melodies for his yet-to-be-titled film starring Shah Rukh Khan.
"Rahman just makes his own music. He says - 'Yashji, I make music... you like it, you take it; you don't like it, don't take it. I keep making music and I like doing it'. Such is the dedication of that man, " added the 79-year-old, whose last directorial venture was the cross-border love story "Veer-Zaara", released in 2004.
