"People, who come to 'Bigg Boss' to look for work, should not come to the show then...because you don't get work generated out of 'Bigg Boss'. I do not think anyone should use this show as a platform or as a career move because I don't think that out of this show, anyone has been given a career, " Pooja told in an interview.
She added, "Look at Rahul Roy or Shweta Tiwari...she was as successful as she is today. There is no dramatic surge or jump in your career. Apart from few people, who have benefited like Rakhi Sawant...who have come out and made a career but that is because of her own initiative that took her to certain level."
"I think one must not get into the show thinking as a great career move...it is a great social experiment. It is just that people across India get to see you as you are and there is a lot of warmth generated between the masses and you as they follow you...vote for you...there is a closeness that is built, " she said.
In the past, the actress has appeared in reality shows like 'Jhalak Dikhla Jaa', 'Nach Baliye', 'Khatron Ke Khiladi' and was last seen in 'Maa Exchange'.
In fact, the actress, who is known for her quick repartees, had a showdown of sorts in 'Maa Exchange' with fellow contestant and comedian Rajeev Nigam's wife. Pooja's presence in the show is surely going to spice things.
"I have done a physical show like 'Khatron Ke Khiladi', tested my skills for 'Jhalak Dikhla Jaa' and showcase my personality and family life on a show like 'Maa Exchange' and through this show, I feel it is a wonderful medium to understand and explore myself, my dynamics, likes and dislikes, strengths and weakness.
It will be interesting to understand myself better because of the situations and circumstances that we are subjected to are so adverse, " Pooja said.
"The toughest part for me would be to contain myself in an enclosed place if you put me in a show like 'Surviour' it would be great...run around, trees to climb on...I have lot of energy, so for me to stuck in a enclosed house, would be my biggest challenge, " she said.
Pooja says she is not scared of being on camera 24x7, the only concern are her two kids -- Aaleya and Omar. "The only thing that I am going to miss during my stay in Bigg Boss would be my two children."
