The sensuous actor of B-town Mallika Sherawat turned 30 on Monday.

She is busy celebrating her birthday with her Los Angeles friends, as she tweeted: "My LA gang Tony, Leslie, Alex, Ivan celebrating my birthday :) grateful for the love."

Mallika has not only entertained her fans in India but she has also been trying to make an impact in Hollywood for quite some time now.

The small town girl, Reema Lamba, now known as Mallika Sherawat, emerged in the paradigm of Bollywood with the film Khwahish (2003).

However, it was Murder that brought her into limelight. She received a nomination for Best Actress at the Zee Cine Awards for her performance in that film. The film went on to become one of the biggest hits of the year.

Since then there has been no looking back for the actor. 'The Myth', 'Pyaar Ke Side Effects', 'Shaadi Se Pehle', 'Ugly Aur Pagli', 'Maan Gaye Mughal-e-Azam', ' Hisss', 'Double Dhamaal', 'Welcome' are some of the movies where she showcased her talents.

She also performed in several item numbers in her career and it can be said that she is the new " Munni "of Southern film industry as she will seen shaking her legs for the Tamil version of the popular hindi song 'Munni Badnam'.

The song will be used in director S. Dharani's upcoming film 'Osthi', the Tamil remake of Bollywood blockbuster 'Dabangg'.

Earlier, she had appeared in several other item songs in films like 'Guru' and 'Double Dhamaal'.
