Diwali quotes from the actors on Imagine TV

Ankita Sharma (Sawaare Sabke Sapne: Preeto) : "Diwali has always been my favorite festival of the year. I remember when I was young; I used to go with my father to buy crackers.

My father would let me know before hand on the budget allotted for crackers, but once we would reach the market, I would forget everything he said in excitement, thus making him spend more than what he would otherwise. Diwali is the festival of lights and I would wish all my fans a bright and safe Diwali."

Aditya Redij (Sawaare Sabke Sapne: Preeto): "When I think of Diwali the first thing that comes in my mind is the mithais. Diwali is associated with a lot of things but for me Diwali is about my friends.

I still remember my building friends and I used to sneak out in the middle of the night and go on the terrace and burst crackers and wake up the entire society.

I miss those pranks and of course the food that comes with the festival. Well, Diwali is the only festival that allows you to burst crackers officially, so to all my fans a very happy Diwali and please go all out and burst crackers. Enjoy."

Ashish Sharma (Chandragupt Maurya): "Diwali reminds me of my family. I have never been away from my family during Diwali and hopefully this year will not be any different.

One of my fondest memories of Diwali, is the time when my mother used to draw rangoli in our lawn and my brother and I would to go and distract her and sometimes even spoil her rangoli. The decorations and diyas in the house is another memory that is very clearly etched in my mind.

This Diwali I would like to wish all my fans a very happy Diwali and please avoid bursting too many crackers to have a pollution free Diwali."

Jayshree Venkatraman (Beendh Banunga Ghodi Chadoonga): "Diwali is one festival that I wait for the entire year... it's a festival of so many lights, different colors, new clothes, gifts, lots of sweets, and patake, although I burst very few crackers just in the name of tradition... I love to spend Diwali with my family... unlike any other culture during Diwali we South Indians burst a cracker or two in the morning at 5am.

I enjoy doing these little things with my grandmother. Please enjoy Diwali to the fullest, feel the brightness of the lights inside you and stay happy – lots of love"

Vishal Kanwar (Dwarkadheesh: Bhagwaan Shree Krishna): "Diwali for me is the most awaited festival in the year. This year it would be more special as I would be celebrating Diwali with my family after four years.

My sister and my brother-in-law would also be joining us. So, I am really excited for this one. I still remember when we were small; I used to stay in a joint family and would ask money from my father as well as from my uncle without the other knowing about it.

I would spend the money in buying lot of crackers and start bursting them at four in the morning. I would like to wish everyone a very happy Diwali... Start the new year on a positive note and everything that follows will only be for the best."
