She was nominated for elimination along with Pooja Missra, Amar Upadhyay and Mahek Chahal.
The news anchor took a plunge on Nihita Biswas' sex life on the first day itself. Biswas is married to 67-year Charles Sobhraj, also known as the "bikini killer", in 2008. But later, Mandeep took a back seat and maintained a low profile all through her stay.
Asked about her experience, she told over phone: "The stay was very uncomfortable. I feel so happy and light now.
The persistent fights and the negative vibes made the atmosphere torturous at times."
"I wanted to have more fun and add more zing but I couldn't do that. From the second day itself - I got sick, the chill in the house made it worse day by day.
So, it is very difficult to have fun with pain, " she added.
Mandeep did try to stay away from controversies and tried to mend differences between the inmates.
"I don't like fights, I can't stand them. I tried my best to make things better and easier but the situation there is just beyond anybody. People are playing several types of 'dirty games' inside.
Some are trying to be too sweet and back stab and the others are fighting for footage, " said Mandeep, who plans to go back to Los Angeles now.
"Bigg Boss 5", which started Oct 2, has celebrity participants locked inside an isolated house without any communication with the outside world.
