In her last brush with the western media Aishwarya Rai proclaimed, "We'll cross the bridge when we reach it," discussing her imminent kissing sequence in her forthcoming Hollywood movies.

But such bold questions have not intimidated our queen bee and she is all set to take on one of the most prominant face from the West.

Aishwarya will feature in one of America's most famous talk shows - David Lettermans Late Show the coming week.

The interview, to be aired on the 9th of February, comes two days ahead of the US premiere of Rai's film Bride and Prejudice. The Emmy Award-winning programme marks Rai's first appearance on an American late night talk show.

The former Miss World was last month profiled on CBS networks 60 Minutes programme with an interview taped in Mumbai.

However, this time, Rai will be seated on stage at the Ed Sullivan Theatre in New York City to chat with Letterman about her first English-language movie. Bride and Prejudice, directed by NRI director Gurinder Chadha of the Bend it Like Beckham fame, puts a Bollywood spin on the Jane Austen classic Pride and Prejudice.

The film also stars actor Martin Henderson, Naveen Andrews and Anupam Kher.

Rai is all set to make a foray into Hollywood, having been signed on for international productions like Chaos with Meryl Streep and Racing the Monsoon starring Michael Douglas.
