Actor Chitrangada Singh says people can't imagine her doing a commercial film.

Chitrangada Singh, with dollops of oomph, plays the hot professor of Akshay Kumar in Desi Boyz.

In candid conversation with Komal Nahta on ETC Bollywood Business, she said: "People didn't imagine me to do a commercial movie."

We have seen Chitrangada in films like Hazaaron Khwaishein Aisi and recently in Yeh Saali Zindagi, but Desi Boyz is her first masala film, and besides acting she adds spark and spunk to the film in her sensational avatar. Since her character required her to look edgy, smart, stylish and yet mature, her stylist gave her fringes for her hairdo.

Talking about her work, the actor who is upbeat about her first fully commercial movie, Desi Boyz, said, "Kaam ata tha,but ek jaisa kaam ata tha..People didn't imagine me to do a commercial movie."

Singh, who is Akshay Kumar's love interest in the forthcoming comedy Desi Boyz, said, "Akshay is fantastic. He's very encouraging, warm and very humble. He helped me out with tips during dance sequence."

Refuting reports of constant 'cat fights', with Deepika Padukone, Chitrangada clarified, "All is well between me and Deepika and there were no tiffs. We have just one scene together and we spoke on the day we shot it and that too was shot few days ago. As a matter of fact, we both have encountered each other more now during movie promotion."

Discussing her personal life, Chitrangana said, "I go for hot yoga, swimming and golf to remain in shape. However, in the cooking front i can cook only pastas and carrot pulav." Chitrangana also shared her secret and favorite carrot pulav recipe with the viewers.
