Successful Hindi hit "Delhi Belly" will reportedly be remade in Tamil by director Kannan who has teamed up with John Mahendran to write the dialogues for the film.

Kannan had earlier directed "Jab We Met" Tamil remake "Kanden Kathali", but his last film "Vandhan Vendraan" was not a success and so he is returning to remake.

"Delhi Belly" remake will be shot with a Chennai milieu and the dialouges will be interspersed with some common swear words used by the locals.

Kannan has, however, not revealed who will produce the film and the remake rights of the movie.
