The bunch of actors, shaking their hips in the multi-starrer song of Om Shanti Om, were those available for the shooting during the day as couple of known actors couldn't make it, said choreographer and filmmaker Farah Khan.

Farah Khan at her best in humour throughout a ‘knowledge session' at Film Bazaar being held on the sidelines of the International Film Festival of India (IFFI) admitted that actors (excluding the stars in the film) invited to make appearances in the song were not big actors.

"The song which had 31 actors and actresses had answered the calls and available in the town for the shoot that day..., " Farah who directed and choreographed the musical film, said.

The famous choreographer said Govinda, who was also invited to make his appearance, arrived at the set 24 hours late.

"Govinda came 24 hours late as he thought the shoot was for the next day, but, the song shoot was still going on... he came for the shoot then."

Making the audiences laugh all through the session with her good sense of humour, Farah also tried to pull Fardeen Khan's leg.

"Fardeen was to come for the song shoot but he got arrested in Dubai. He called me up from Dubai airport and said he was arrested, " she said.

On a serious note, Farah said she would have loved to have Dilip Saab (Dilip Kumar) in the song. "Amir (Khan) also refused to show up as he was busy shooting for his film ‘Taare Zameen Par, " she added.

The choreographer, who was basically invited to give a talk on ‘item songs' at the knowledge session said most Indians have grown on item songs including herself.
