Marathi mulgi Mugdha Godse is pretty tickled. The reason being that she's making her debut in the Marathi film industry in a remake of Anil Kapoor starrer Laadla.

Mugdha tells CS, "Laadla is one of my favourite films. I have seen it innumerable times. And though my project is a remake, the tone of the film will be a bit different as Marathi as a language is harsher than Hindi and also, the setting is different."

Talking about stepping in Sridevi's shoes, the actress says, "She is one of the most beautiful actresses we have had and her dance skills are unmatched. But I am sure I will be able to do justice as it's in my mother tongue."
