They seem like an unusual couple, but actors Neha Dhupia and Vinay Pathak have come together once again for Saurabh Shukla's romantic comedy "Pappu Can't Dance Saala", which is releasing Friday.

This is the second time that Neha and Vinay would be sharing screen space together after yet another Saurabh Shukla film "Raat Gayi Baat Gayi?"

"Pappu Can't Dance Saala" is all about cultural clashes and the tussle between traditional and modern Indian societies. Rajat Kapoor, Naseeruddin Shah and Sanjay Mishra have also been roped in to add flavour to the story.

In the film, Benaras guy Vidyadhar Acharya (Vinay) travels to Mumbai for work, but his principles and values makes it difficult for him to survive. In his quest to adapt to the big city's lifestyle, he meets a struggling back up dancer Mehek (Neha) and is forced to stay with her.

Vinay says his character belongs to a "Brahmin family and he is a very learned man. And that is what his problem is. He feels he is the most educated man therefore, he wants everybody to work on his terms."

The film tracks the journey of the two completely opposite personalities and how the collision of two cultures creates havoc in the beginning, but finds a peaceful co-existence at the end.

After the initial phase of rejection, they eventually fall in love and realise each other's importance in life.

Going by the title one would assume that the film is about dance, but it is actually not. It's about people who struggle to cope with changing situations in life and how some times they land up in embarrassing situations as well.

The small-budget film has been extensively shot in picturesque locales of Benaras and Satara, in Gujarat. To prepare for her role Neha spent time with backup dancers to understand their problems and their feelings.

The actress is said to have left no stone unturned to ensure that "Pappu Can't Dance Saala" works well at the box-office. In fact, she has done the song "Saajna Saajna" sans makeup.

Saurabh, who has also made films like "Mudda: The Issue" (2003) and "Chehraa" (2005), has not only written and directed the film, he has also penned a song called "Abhimani Maan".

While it is a solo Hindi film release, "Pappu Can't Dance Saala" will clash with Tom Cruise-starrer "Mission Impossible 4: The Ghost Protocol", which also stars Anil Kapoor.
