This choreographer turned director's film had nothing new to offer, except for a pacy party anthem, Char baj gaye.
BO fate: A surprise hit. Producer Vashu Bhagnani also made money by selling the satellite rights for R 12 crores.
Next step: Remo's planning one more film for Bhagnani, with of course, Jackky Bhagnani in the lead. PNC has signed him to direct their next film.

Amol Gupte: 'Stanley Ka Dabba'
His foray into direction was aborted after actor-producer and good friend Aamir Khan took over the reins of Taare Zameen Par. Nonetheless, Amol Gupte's debut Stanley Ka Dabba, in which he cast his own son Partho earned a lot of critical acclaim.

Bejoy Nambiar: 'Shaitan'
