Deepak Tijori has opted out of the film he was to direct for Pooja Bhatt citing commitments to his home
productions.
The love story about three women and a man, scripted by Mahesh Bhatt, was to roll in April 2005. Until a
month ago, Tijori was at the film's helm.
"I was no doubt looking forward to the film but I felt I wouldn't be doing it justice, considering I have two
releases coming up - 'Khamosh' and 'Fareb'.
"There's also another film, 'Cellphone'," tells Tijori.
"Fareb" and "Khamosh" will be released in March. While "Fareb" is an emotional thriller with sisters Shilpa
and Shamita Shetty opposite Manoj Bajpai, "Khamosh" is a psychological thriller with Shilpa Shetty and
Juhi Chawla.
"Khamosh" has some extensive special effects, including a digitally shot rain sequence and the digital
titles.
The stylish titles were seen recently on Sony TV's "Indian Idol" when Shilpa appeared as a guest
judge.
Tijori said: "The special effects form 10 percent of the film and cost me a bomb but they were required by
the script, which is a fast-paced thriller.
"The titles also look impressive and have been appreciated a lot. The people at Maya Entertainment have
done an excellent job."
