Ranbir and Shahid said to be competing with each other to play the lead in Vidhu Vinod Chopra's next

According to sources, the two hottest Kapoors of Bollywood, Ranbir and Shahid, are both contending for the lead role in Vidhu Vinod Chopra's next venture, Chithiyaan.

While Sharman Joshi is playing the second lead in this love triangle, the spot for the main lead is still open.

Reportedly, Chopra had met Ranbir for the narration in Los Angeles, a few months ago. But sources say Shahid also has been spotted at the filmmaker's office quite a few times, recently. Apparently, he is meeting Chopra for the same role.

While he is very keen on casting Ranbir and has met him a few times, Shahid who is very eager to work with the producer of the Munnabhai series and 3 Idiots has been sending him feelers.

The talks are on with both the Kapoor lads. We will find out soon who bags the role." The spokesperson of Vidhu Vinod Chopra's production company confirms the story.
