Sanjay's trip began Saturday, and he had planned to return home some time next year. But the makers of "Bigg Boss" planned a special episode for Dec 31, and the channel authorities requested him to be present for the same.
The professional that he is, Sanjay cut short his trip and is now returning to Mumbai Friday. He will go to Karjat Dec 31 morning via a chopper and will shoot for the special episode, said a source close to the 52-year-old.
In the meantime, the second theatrical trailer of Sanjay's forthcoming release "Agneepath" released with "Don 2: The King Is Back". In the film, a remake of the 1990 film of the same name, Sanjay plays the villain Kancha Cheena.
His fearsome look and sly smile in the promos has been the talk of the town ever since the film's first look was unveiled. "Agneepath", produced by Karan Johar and directed by debutant Karan Malhotra, features Hrithik Roshan and Priyanka Chopra in key roles.
In the new year, Sanjay will be on a roll.
He will play characters inspired by real life police officers in "Zila Ghaziabad" and Ram Gopal Varma's "Department". He will also be seen in another movie, tentatively titled "Thanedaar Returns", produced by Dharam Oberoi and TP Aggarwal.
Sanjay will also return as Munna in the third instalment of "Munnabhai", and he will also team up again with good friend Ajay Devgn in "Son Of Sardar".
