Prateik wanted to show his sweetheart Amy Jackson the iconic monument of love, Taj Mahal. However, the Weather Gods played spoilsports. The co-stars became extremely close while shooting for Gautham Menon's next, the remake of a South film.
A source from the crew informs, "Both, Prateik and Amy got very excited when they heard that the music of the film was going to be launched at Taj Mahal, one of the most beautiful and romantic destinations in the world that symbolises romance.
The actors had requested the makers if they could stay back and have a guided tour of the monument. Both had not visited the Taj before and this was an ideal opportunity."
But unfortunately due to the fog in Delhi and Agra, the two reached the spot quite late. Says a source, "Due to the fog and bad weather conditions they couldn't make it to the launch on time.
When they reached there, the entry to Taj Mahal was just about closing but the authorities were very supportive and let them go in, but for very little time. Consequently, Prateik couldn't show Amy the entire place properly."
Vijay Singh of Fox Star Studios says, "The entire young brigade including Prateik and Amy wanted to take the tour but due to weather conditions we got delayed. We shall do it another time." Better luck next time, then.
