(sic)," the 44-year-old posted on micro-blogging site Twitter.
"Everyone let's back the Boyz we love so much, come on, none of us are perfect at our jobs everyday of the month, it's support they need not criticism. Do what you can Boyz, India's waiting for you & always with you," he further posted.
India lost the third test against Australia by an innings and 37 runs in Perth Sunday and before that they faced a whitewash in England last year.
The bad performance on the field has upset the cricket fans and others who are blaming Dhoni's laid-back attitude for the losses.
