Katrina Kaif is being showered with praise for her "Chikni Chameli" item number in "Agneepath" and Shakti Kapoor says it is her hard work that has helped her reach this position in the industry.

"To come to this situation of power as an actor requires hard work and the same goes for Katrina.

Look at her, a girl coming from London and she has overpowered all the other heroines in the country. It's only her hard work and I wish her all the best," Shakti said here at an event.

Shakti, 59, was recently seen in "Bigg Boss 5" and his last film was "Bin Bulaye Baraati".
