The couple, who started their career together eight years ago with "Tujhe Mere Kasam", a remake of Malyalam blockbuster "Niram", will be next seen in their upcoming film "Tere naal Love Ho Gaya". "We started our career in 2003 and have grown together with the films. She has evolved as an actress with films.
There is a scene where we have to act like drunkards and she did that brilliantly with such ease that made me feel she is a better actress than me," Riteish said during the promotion of the film at IIPM here.
The film will be the couple's first onscreen appearance after marriage, but Riteish, 33, said they didn't plan to tie the knot after the completion of the film.
"Love is a slow evolutionary process. We started off as a friend and after some time we started dating each other. I used to like her from the beginning and the best part in her is she values every relationship. "We never interfered into each other's decision.
Whether we decided to marry each other on the sets of the film, we really don't remember," he said. In the romantic comedy, Riteish plays a lowly employee under Genelia's father played by actor Tinu Anand. "The film is directed brilliantly by Mandeep (director).
There is a suspense till the end about whether they are in love with each other or not," he said. After this film, Riteish will be seen in rib-tickling comedy 'Housefull 2' along with Akshay Kumar and John Abraham.
