The actress once again reaches for her favourite cover-up act to deter shutterbugs and her co-passengers on a flight.

While some celebs prefer to hide behind large sunnies, others shield their faces with their hands lest the public recognise who they are. Mallika Sherawat again opted for a burqa, which is by far her favourite accessory when it comes to hoodwinking shutterbugs.

Recently, the sex siren created a buzz at the Delhi airport and later at the Mumbai airport where she landed, after she refused to remove the burqa even during the duration of the flight.

According to our source, the sex siren was flying from Delhi to Mumbai after wrapping up a schedule of Kismat Love Paisa Delhi and arrived at the airport in a burqa to board her flight.

Our source says, "She declined to uncover her face even while checking in and going through the security check. If that wasn't enough, she blatantly refused the on-board staff's request to remove the burqa while seated in the business class of the plane."

We learnt that her efforts to hide behind the veil drew sniggers from co-passengers and amused many others at the airport.

As our source continues, "When top actresses like Kareena Kapoor, Katrina Kaif, Deepika Padukone, Priyanka Chopra and Vidya Balan travel without much ado, people were shocked to see Mallika being obstinate to hide behind the burqa."

Interestingly, the self-proclaimed 'Viagra for the box-office' wasn't travelling with any bodyguards like she did until last year.

And even after landing in Mumbai, she didn't lift her veil till she was comfortably seated inside her car. "Only after her chauffeur had picked some speed did she unveil herself inside the air-conditioned confines of her car," recalls our source.
