After making movies like 'Khosla Ka Ghosla' and 'Oye Lucky Lucky Oye', Dibakar Banerjee, is back with a thriller, based on the movie 'Z'.

Dibakar's upcoming movie Shanghai stars Abhay Deol, Emraan Hashmi and Kalki Koechlin and Prosenjit Chatterjee.

The cast and crew are already all praises for each other.

Abhay, who will be working with Dibakar for the second time, said: "Dibakar is one of the finest directors. I had the opportunity to work with him in 'Oye Lucky Lucky Oye'. I love the way he creates his own world through his scripts. He has a brilliant way of telling stories."

Dibakar couldn't be happier with his star cast.

Sources quoted him saying, "I'm happy these guys trusted my script and went with their gut, doing a 180 degree turn-around with their existing images.

"Who'd have imagined Abhay playing a South Indian, sporting a moustache, or Emraan moving totally away from his romantic image? Besides these two, I also think two other actors who are brilliant are Bengal's superstar Prosenjit, and Kalki Koechlin."

Dibakar said, "Frankly I have been stunned by the performances from our stars and our character artistes. I can safely say that all preconceived notions that people have about both Abhay and Emraan are going to be shattered by this movie."

He said he is confident that with the story line and the brilliant performance, Shanghai will be his best movie yet.

PVR Pictures will be releasing Shanghai on June 8.
