The star's 'good friend' Rana Dagubatti has apparently been bonding big time with Sanjay Dutt.

South import Rana Dagubatti may have been linked with Bipasha Basu after Dum Maaro Dum, but the actor now has a new friendship to talk about in Bollywood.

Rana, who has been shooting for Ram Gopal Varma's Department, has been bonding big time with co-star Sanjay Dutt. What got them talking was the subject of workouts and hitting the gym.

Says a source, "Rana has been working out for his role of a tough police officer in Ramu's flick. Impressed with his dedication, Sanjay Dutt has opened the doors of his private gym at home for Rana.

Whenever time permits, Rana goes and works out at Dutt's place. In fact, the star is also offering him tips on bulking up.

Adds the source, "Rana considers Sanjay Dutt his new mentor. He is happy to spend time with him and learn about Bollywood."

Dutt's spokersperson confirms, "Whenever Rana is in Mumbai, he does work out at Sanjay Dutt's gym."
