At a screening of Paan Singh Tomar, Shekhar Kapur was the special guest. He had been specially invited by his protege Tigmanshu Dhulia for the event.

For Dhulia, life had come a full circle as it was on the sets of Shekhar's Bandit Queen that he came across the story of Paan Singh and now his mentor was giving it his stamp of approval.
