Tabu has reportedly been asked to do an item song for the upcoming Sonu Sood-Naseeruddin Shah starrer 'Maximum'.

Although she has taken a break from Hindi films, the 40-year-old actress was approached to sizzle in the track.

The film has been written and directed by Kabeer Kaushik, and features stars like Neha Dhupia and Vinay Pathak.

The flick is scheduled to release on April 13.
