Until recently, Jhulka was supposed to be the surprise element in the film but friends and well-wishers in the industry have already taken notice of the promos showing her in a fleeting appearance. "I would say that I play the role of a strong filler in the relationship between Ayesha (Takia) and Abhay Deol," Jhulka reveals.
Apart from SOCHA NA THA, Ayesha is looking forward to the release of Raj Kaushal's DOUBLE CROSS, in which she plays a role with negative shades. The film also reminds her of her co-star, Negar Khan, with whom she shared a great working relationship during the making of the film. "The deportation incident was a sad and bitter truth for all of us. Negar was a very nice person at heart and an excellent co-star on the sets," she recalls.
The big excitement she is looking forward to though is her film production debut which will happen in the next few months, with Tanisha Productions, the company that she floated recently.
"I am particularly excited about the script of the film which has been written by my husband. It is a very beautiful love story but I have not yet arrived at a suitable title for the film," she reveals, adding that she wants to make her film debut as much successful as her theatre debut, 'Purush'.
