The talented actor of offbeat Bollywood films, Abhay Deol, turned 36 on Thursday.

This year it will be a double celebration for Abhay, as he has bagged Prakash Jha's next film where Abhishek Bachchan has been replaced by him and he will be playing the lead role in the film.

Not being a party animal, there will be no such birthday bash for him but he will probably go out for a dinner with Preeti Desai (his girlfriend) and his close friends.

Abhay started his career with the film Socha Na Tha in 2005.

He has charmed his audience with his performance in films like Honeymoon Travels Pvt. Ltd., Oye Lucky! Lucky Oye!, Dev.D, Road, Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara and many more.

His portryal of Kabir in his latest release Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara, was highly appreciated by both fans and critics

Also his film Dev.D has won 6 Filmfare Awards in 2009.

Abhay's upcoming films are Shanghai and Singularity.
