Bollywood actor Rani Mukherji turned 34.

Being a Bong girl, she did a cameo appearance for the first time in her father's Bengali film 'Biyer Phool' in 1992.

She made her Bollywood debut with the film 'Raja Ki Aayegi Baraat' in 1997.

Rani got her first breakthrought with the film 'Kuch Kuch Hota Hai', directed by Karan Johar in 1998.

She got Filmfare Award for Best Supporting Actress for this film.

Some of her hit films are Ghulam, Saathiya, Chalte Chalte, Yuva, Hum Tum, Veer-Zaara, Black, Bunty Aur Babli, Paheli, Laaga Chunari Mein Daag, Saawariya, Dil Bole Hadippa!, No One Killed Jessica and many more.

For Saathiya, she got Filmfare Critics Award for Best Actress in 2002, for Hum Tum, she got Filmfare Award for Best Actress in 2004, for Black, she won two awards, Filmfare Award for Best Actress and Filmfare Critics Award for Best Actress, and last year for No One Killed Jessica, she got Filmfare Award for Best Supporting Actress.

Her upcoming films are Talaash and Aiyaa.
