Constant media scrutiny has compelled Bollywood diva Priyanka Chopra to stop reading newspapers. She says it's a way to protect herself as she likes being in her own bubble.

"Every time there is something I know that is going to irritate me, I try and block it out. So I don't read the newspaper or see the news," said Priyanka after winning the title of Big CBS Love's "India's Glam Diva".

"I like to stay in my own bubble. It's my way to protect myself, because I happen to be in the newspaper more often than not," she added.

As of now, Priyanka is on a roll after two back-to-back hits - "Don 2: The King is Back" and "Agneepath".

She has wrapped up shooting for Kunal Kohli's tentatively titled "Teri Meri Kahaani" opposite Shahid Kapoor, and is currently working on "Barfi!" and "Krrish 2".
