Says Sujoy Ghosh, director of Kahaani, who wants the two to be part of his next

For director Sujoy Ghosh, his Kahaani lead actress and Amitabh Bachchan, who sang a Rabindra geet in the recently-released film, are a must have for the film's sequel.

"I don't see myself making any films without them, " says Ghosh who now intends to move to Bengali literature as the subject for his next film.

He will be filming an adaptation of Bangla litterateur Sunil Gangopadhyay's novel Aranyer Din Ratri with Vidya Balan and the Big B playing stellar roles. The novel was filmed by Satyajit Ray in 1970.

Says Ghosh, "Presently, I'm just enjoying the recognition in Kolkata. I see the expectations in people's eyes. I've to go beyond Kahaani. I've to live with the novel Aranyer Din Ratri for six months and see where I can take it. After all, it's been done by Ray before, " he adds.
