Filmmaker Karan Johar will be launching a lady director for the first time under his Dharma Productions banner.

Sonam Nair will make her directorial debut with a Dharma Productions movie.

Karan has officially announced the news though the title of the film is yet to be finalized.

"At Dharma, we have already introduced nine directors. We are extremely proud of their films. Taking the train of thought further, we plan to expand our production base and launch many more first time filmmakers in the immediate future," said Karan.

So far, he has launched nine debutant directors under his banner, starting from Nikhil Advani in ‘Kal Ho Na Ho' to Shakun Batra in ‘Ek Main Aur Ekk Tu.'
