Vidhu Vinod Chopra seems to be playing peacemaker to too many people of late, thanks to a retrospective of his films to be screened over the next few days.

After inviting Madhuri Dixit and Anil Kapoor to represent their film Parinda which opened the festival, we saw both Mukesh and Anil Ambani walk the red carpet at the event last night.

Apparently Chopra is close to both the brothers for decades and insisted that they be present at his big night. Confirms Chopra's spokesperson, "He has been close to both the brothers since a long time.

In fact Vidhu was part of the bash they held for Sachin too." Perhaps a film on the reunion of long-lost brothers is on the anvil.
