If news about Tiger Shroff's crammed work calendar has been greeting you day in and day out, buzz is that all of it may not be actually true.br />
Jackie Shroff's son may be well on his way taking baby steps towards Bollywood, but contrary to reports, he hasn't signed a single film.
There was some talk recently about the aspiring actor coming on board for the sequel of Aashiqui (1990). br />
However, director of the sequel, Mohit Suri out rightly denies having signed Shroff Junior for the film. In fact, the director adds that he has never even met him.
Suri says, "I don't know where this rumour about Tiger being cast in the film came about. Plus I am casting fresh faces in my film for which we are having an inter-city audition planned. There is no question of Tiger coming on board."
Naturally, there is talk now speculating if Tiger is just being pushed too much into the limelight, even before some concrete happens for him.
Too much publicity, too early?
Adds the source, "Recently there have been articles about his workout regime and food habits.br />
He hasn't even done a film, so we wonder who cares about what Tiger eats." Tiger's mother, Ayesha Shroff, however, is equally surprised with constant incorrect news about her son.
She says, "I don't know where these stories come from. Tiger is meeting people, especially those who are his father's friends. But those meetings haven't materialised into anything concrete.
He is still looking into the kind of work he wants to do and has not signed on any film. He is taking it slow and people shouldn't believe in rumours."
Rumours that did the rounds
1) Subhash Ghai was apparently supposed to launch him in the remake of Hero, but that eventually did not work out. Tiger was then quoted saying, "I do not want to be compared to my father so early in life."
2) There was also news about him being cast opposite Sunny Leone in Jism but apparently Tiger has never auditioned for the Bhatts.
Adds Suri, "Tiger was in the office once, but I don't think he has ever auditioned for any of the Bhatt productions."
3) There also has been news on how Aamir Khan was keen on launching Tiger, but that hasn't taken shape either.
