Actor Ronit Roy, who has been preparing to shoot his next film "Shootout At Wadala", is a bundle of nerves and hopes to live up to the director's expectations.

The actor, whose role as a strict father in "Udaan" was appreciated, will be seen as cop Raja Tambat in director Sanjay Gupta's "Shootout At Wadala", based on the 1982 shootout in which criminal Manya Surve was killed.

"New day, new week, new film starts - 'Shootout at Wadala'. Going into it with lotsa positivity. You guys have a super week," Ronit posted on Twitter.

"Nervous about this one. Need all your good wishes. Hope I'm able to play Raja Tambat to your's and directors satisfaction," he added.

The crime thriller also stars Anil Kapoor, Sonu Sood, Mahesh Manjrekar, Manoj Bajpayee, Tusshar Kapoor, and Kangna Ranaut.
