"I am in an experimental phase now. I am really liking the work that I am doing now.
It was something that I was waiting for, the kind of roles I have been playing are the ones I was looking forward to play, " Prachi said here. "I want to play roles that are more like me. 'Bol Bachchan' and 'I Me Aur Main' has given me that chance." Prachi started her career with Ekta Kapoor's popular TV show 'Kasamh Se', in which she played a small-town girl.
She made her debut in Bollywood with musical film 'Rock On' opposite actor-director Farhan Akhtar. Her next film 'Life Partner' was opposite Tusshar Kapoor and her last release a crime thriller 'Once Upon A Time in Mumbai' opposite Emraan Hashmi was a huge hit.
Prachi would be seen next in Rohit Shetty's comedy 'Bol Bachchan' (July 6) alongside Abhishek Bachchan, Ajay Devgn and Asin. Her next release would be Goldie Behl's romance drama 'I Me Aur Main' (July 27) opposite John Abraham.
"Watch out for the 'Chaalbaaz' song (item number done by Chitrangada Singh) in the film ('I Me Aur Main'), " an excited Prachi said. Even though the actress is not a part of the sequel to 'Once Upon A Time In Mumbai', she is all praises for the film.
"'Once Upon A Time in Mumbai' is a special film for me. Milan Luthria is one of my favourite directors and Rajat Arora is my favourite writer. I am very happy that they are making 'Once Upon A Time In Mumbai 2'.
I know it is going to be a fantastic film, " she said. "I am looking forward to it, because the story and the cast is completely different. I believe it is going to be better than the first one, " she added.
