Parineeti Chopra had to undergo several training sessions for her next film where she practiced firing guns. And the producers spent around Rs 2 lakh as the cost of acquiring the ammunitions.
It is learnt that Parineeti, who plays a fiery and feisty lass in the action romance was required by director Habib Faisal to learn how to use guns.
"Right from how to hold a gun, to loading and reloading it and firing at the target, Parineeti underwent specific training for about a month on location in Lucknow," says our source associated with the film.
He further adds that during that time, she was familiarised with the difference between a pistol, a revolver and even a desi katta.
Interestingly, the new actress on the block was maha thrilled about practicing to shoot at a moving target and also while she was placed on a moving object. As our source reveals, "By the end of her training, Parineeti was pretty good with her aim."
And when they filmed the action sequences, apparently the actress used more ammunition than co-actor Arjun Kapoor, points out our source.
"If one were to put a price to the ammunition she used during training and filming, it wouldn't have cost less than Rs 2 lakh for Parineeti alone," says our informer.
Needless to say, the actress impressed everyone with her shooting skills, from Habib to Arjun to producer Aditya Chopra. "The joke in the team is that she's good enough to participate the in national shooting competitions also," enthuses our informer.
