After years, the David Dhawan-Vashu Bhagnani hit combination has reunited to work on the latter's next production, Shaadi No.1.

After Vashu did four movies with David (all hits), the two had a reported fall-out, after which Vashu signed on other directors.

When Vashu approached David again, the latter was so touched that he agreed to do the film at a major discount for his Producer No.1.

The film stars Sanjay Dutt, Fardeen Khan, Zayed Khan, Ayesha Takia and Aarti Chabria, among others.
