She is known for her love for golf and scuba diving. So, it was not a surprise to know that actor Sameera Reddy had decided to do all the action stunts in her latest film without using a body double.

In a fun-filled interview, she talks to CS about her new-found love for biking, men she would like to have on her pillion, and why it is fun to work across languages:

On the fast lane

When I said yes to the film, I didn't know anything about biking. Then, I started taking lessons on the sly. My father doesn't approve of bikes, as he finds them dangerous. I used to take classes in and around Bandra.

I can confidently say that now I know how to ride a bike with ease. They are such lean-mean machines. During the shoot of the film, I had an accident and didn't inform my dad about it. He came to know only through press reports.

Needless to say, he was quite upset. But I have plans of doing a road trip on a bike, I will start with one to Goa. I have driven all over Rajasthan and loved the experience. I'm sure this will be fun too.

On the hot seat

When we suggested names of some Hollywood actors whom Sam would love to have on her pillion, here's what she had to say:

Daniel Craig: Well, he is the man I would love to have on my bike, especially without a shirt, a la Salman (Khan).

Tom Cruise: Though he's cute, and I loved him in Top Gun, Tom is a little too short for me.

James Franco: He is a good-looking guy but way too thin. I don't think he'll look good behind me.

Leonardo DiCaprio: I will be his Rose (Kate Winslet from Titanic) any day.

Pierce Brosnan: I have been totally in love with him since the days of the Thomas Crown Affair.

Johnny Depp: I never fancied him.

Salman Khan: I think Salman is the only Bollywood star, who wouldn't have an issue riding pillion behind a heroine. He is too cool.

Language no bar

Amitji (Amitabh Bachchan) once said that the Indian film industry extends beyond Bollywood, and I firmly believe in that. I have had the chance of doing some really good work in Tamil and Bengali films with award-winning directors. It has helped me hone my skills as a performer, and that's what matters to me.
