While Sourav Ganguly continued to remain in eye of cricketing debate over his career in IPL, a video featuring the former India captain went viral in cyberspace.

Innumerable people have checked the short video titled 'Sourav Ganguly - The Movie' in the past couple of days since it was uploaded on You Tube.

The 3.07-minute-long video highlights glimpses of Ganguly's leadership skills, achievements, controversies and the incomparable passion and love of his fans.

Ganguly's fans can see him in a different avatar mouthing dialogues in spicy Bollywood style.

The flamboyant left-handed batsman is seen throwing dialogues like: "Iss liye log mujhe baap nahin dada bolte hain."

The video triggered fresh speculations among his fans. They took it as the trailer of an upcoming movie dedicated to the glorious yet controversial career that was full of high dramas and comebacks.

However, blowing all speculations and expectations it was later revealed that the video was only an advertisement of a health insurance major and was not concerned with any movie.

Antony Jacob, CEO of the health insurance major was quoted as saying in the media that the company has made Ganguly the brand ambassador of it for next three years and the advertisement was created in the format of a movie trailer as the life of Ganguly was no less than a Bollywood thriller.

The video was launched on May 7.
