'Wasn't Choli Ke Peeche an Item number too?'
Gauahar Khan doesn't like the term item numbers. But the gal sure knows how to sizzle in them! The actress who's recently shaken a leg in a dance number, spoke to CS about her love for dancing:

Body basics
For my latest dance number, I was asked to put on weight by my producer. But my director Habib sir was okay with the way I was. I was always thin but I like being toned.

Kya item hai!
I actually don't like calling them item numbers, as I don't like the term item. I find it very derogatory. I prefer calling them special numbers or dance numbers.

When there was a Tamma Tamma or Choli Ke Peeche they were not item numbers, they were required in the film. I want to hunt down the person who invented this term item number. Call them hit numbers or special numbers.

Dancing queen
I'm not a trained dancer, I'm a dancer by blood. My parents are great dancers. The only training I went through was during Jhalak Dikhlaa Jaa. I think Bollywood has some fabulous dancers. No one gets better than Rekhaji, Madhuri and Sridevi.

These days I think Katrina is a great dancer, she gives it her all. She does justice to her dance numbers. Among choreographers, I have been really lucky to work with Rekha and Chinni Prakash. I want to work with Saroj Khan. I really like Bosco and Caesar's style of choreography.
