Nawazuddin Siddiqui, who was recently seen in Sujoy Ghosh's Kahaani as an angry cop, feels that he is finally getting his due as an actor.
The actor whose next three films are all set to premiere at the Cannes Film Festival is happy to be getting opportunities to act alongside stars like Aamir Khan (Reema Kagti's directorial next), Vidya Balan (Kahaani) and Manoj Bajpayee (Anurag Kashyap's forthcoming gangster film).
Incidentally, according to Nawazuddin, his co-star Bajpayee beats biggies like Aamir Khan hands down when it comes to their acting prowess. He points out, "For me, Manoj is India's best actor.
He is one of the finest talents we have in the country. I have worked with him in Chittagong and also did a very small role in Shool. We also have few scenes together in Anurag's next, but we spent a lot of time hanging out together on the sets."
And about Aamir, he says, "Aamir Khan is a superstar and he understands acting. Thank god, today we have a superstar who is also a good actor."
