A casual meeting between 'The Gangs Of Wasseypur' star and some filmmakers at Cannes earns her two international projects

We remember Richa Chadda for her seductive role in Oye Lucky! Lucky Oye! but the Delhi lass had gone into hibernation post that and will only resurface when her second film releases.

Interestingly, in spite of her leg injury, she recently flew to attend the Cannes Film Festival. Incidentally, that trip came out to be so fruitful that she was approached for not one but two international projects — including one from Germany with a production house based in Berlin and for an Indo-French film.

Though she hasn't signed on the dotted lines yet, she's still contemplating them. But she'd rather announce it once all the formalities are done.

A source adds, "She had met these filmmakers at the India Pavilion party and little did she know that the casual invite to them for the screening of her forthcoming film will land her these crossover opportunities. These filmmakers were surprised to see that she looked so different on screen than the glamourous look she had donned at the party!"
