Bhojpuri superstar Ravi Kishan, who has also made a name for himself in Bollywood, asserts that he won't quit Bhojpuri cinema because it is his identity.

"To bid adieu to Bhojpuri is like saying goodbye to my mother. Bhojpuri films are my identity. I gained recognition from Bhojpuri and then I became a superstar, got 'Bigg Boss', Hindi cinema started respecting me again. So I can never leave Bhojpuri films," the 40-year-old said here Monday at the launch of the first look of his upcoming film "Jeena Hai Toh Thok Daal".

"But now I'll do lesser and better films (in Bhojpuri). Earlier, I used to do 12-15 Bhojpuri films in a year but now I'll do three-four, but will never leave it. Wherever I go Bhojpuri comes along with me. Even if you see me in a Hollywood film tomorrow, it'll be written as 'Bhojpuri superstar now working in Hollywood'," he added.

Currently Ravi is participating in season five of dance reality show "Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa". He calls himself a workaholic.

"People call me mad. May be because when a person struggles a lot, like I didn't get work for 15-20 years, he works like mad when he finally gets it," said Ravi.

Last seen in "Agent Vinod" and "Dangerous Ishq", he is currently shooting for Yash Raj Films' "Mere Dad Ki Maruti". He also has "Ghayal Returns", "Zila Ghaziabad" and "Tanu Weds Manu 2" in his kitty. When Ravi Kishan scared his stunt master

Bhojpuri superstar Ravi Kishan recounts how he scared stunt master Mehmood Lala for making him do a stunt without any safety in his forthcoming film "Jeena Hai Toh Thok Daal".

"Some things like safety cables could not reach the spot, there was no safety and the shot had to be taken because it was Purnia's main flyover where trains move regularly. We had permission for that time which would have been tough to get later," the 40-year-old told reporter Monday at the launch of the first look of the film.

"The fightmaster made me jump from a height of 40 feet without any safety. It was Bihar and I told him if anything happens to me how will you go back from here? How will you even reach the railway station or airport? But nothing happened to me and the shot went well," he added.

Directed by newcomer Manish Vatsalya, "Jeena Hai Toh Thok Daal" also stars Yashpal Sharma, Hazel Crowney and director Manish himself.
