Khan had made his first impressions in the tinsel town with 'Deewana' on June 25, 1992.

SRK, as Khan is popularly called by his fans, grabbed Filmfare best male debut award with his act in the film.
In the past 20 years, Khan has charmed his fans by playing innumerable characters ranging from the lover boy in ' Dilwale Dulhaniya Le Jayenge ' to a NASA scientist in 'Swades'.
Khan tweeted on Monday: "20 uninterrupted yrs of serving. Not enuff (enough) talent or looks or game plan. thank u all. I guess i got lucky, lucky to be working all the time."

2007 marked his debut as a television presenter with the Star Plus gaming show 'Kaun Banega Crorepati'. Khan also hosted 'Kya Aap Paanchvi Pass Se Tez Hain' and 'Zor Ka Jhatka'.
