"Today is Esha's sangeet ceremony, which will be held in a hotel. I don't want to say where it is happening. It is a very private affair with close friends and family. The programme will begin at 8.30 p.m., " Hema told.
Esha is set to tie the knot with her beau Bharat Takhtani Friday.
Asked whether the danseuse will perform at the sangeet, she said: "I will not be performing tonight. Esha's friends and Bharat will be performing tonight."
Hema, who will drape a traditional kanjeevaram sari for the D-day, will wear a Neeta Lulla creation for the sangeet.
"Kanjeevarams are booked only for the wedding. I am wearing a sari tonight for the function. My designer has been Neeta Lulla so far. She is my main designer, but one of my outfits is also designed by Bhumika (of Shyamal and Bhumika), " she said.
Lulla, who styled Esha's bridal look in "Na Tum Jaano Na Hum", has also worked on her real life wedding attire.
"For Esha, costumes have been designed by Neeta Lulla and Rocky S. Neeta has designed for Esha's wedding and mehendi, while Rocky has designed for her sangeet, " Hema said.
The sangeet ceremony will be followed by mehendi day Wednesday, and a traditional temple wedding Friday.
Esha-Bharat Wedding Card
The wedding card has been designed by Mumbai's famed invitation cards makers Multi Creation. The couple approached Mr. Kamlesh, the designer after doing a lot of market research. They brain stormed along with the designer to bring fort this amazingly beautiful and classic invitation box.
The invitations cards for various ceremonies prior to the D-Day are placed in this exquisite golden & cream colored re-usable box. Moti Choor ladoo & dry fruits were sent to the invitees along with the box. Esha & Bharat wanted a Lotus to be engraved in their wedding card.
Hence Mr. Kamlesh creatively designed the cover of the box with an OM & SWASTIK along with gold plated initials of Esha & Bharat. Beautiful images of Radha Krishna are used in the cards which makes it most alluring.
